Why Choose Us

Here at CHBC we understand that you are artistic and creative, you understand colors and shapes, you are hands on and you feel best when you can make someone else look their best. We understand that each student that walks in our door is a unique individual with a talent waiting to be unleashed. We understand that without you and without your ambition to learn this profession we can’t do our job and our job is to guide, teach and inspire. Here at CHBC we love our jobs and we want to help you succeed and give you the best educational experience possible.

Yes there is theory and methodology that needs to be learned concerning the arts of cosmetology and its related fields but this education is based mainly on hands on skills.

Practice makes perfect but nothing replaces working on the real thing. The more hair you touch and the more techniques you try, the more you learn the better artist you become!

Our School prides itself on providing you the students with a great deal of practical experience on clients in the clinic area of your study. We are fortunate to have established a large client base, which allows you to have a lot of hands on experience and it prepares you for entry into a salon setting with great confidence.

We want you to succeed so we make it a priority to maintain good relations with salons in our area to help provide job placement. We also offer Salon Internships where you can train in a salon one day a week while still attending school and earn clock hours.

We use the best product lines such as Redken color and hair care products. Nicholas, and Enjoy hair care products, Quantum, Iso, Post Impressions Perms. Keratin Straightening treatments, Image International skin care products, Dermilogica, Coats Aloe, Clinical Formula, Nail tech, Star, Aspire and INM Nail products.

We work closely with these partners to bring in house education and guest speakers along with continued education classes and training.

We prepare you!

We prepare you for the "big test" with Baby Boards
